Series Description:
Fleeing the destruction of Earth's solar system, the gargantuan Shamus Five crash lands on a mysterious ocean planet. Rick Langley, a young man who's spent life fending for himself, regroups on a tropical island with the only survivors: the students of Class 331B.
Here the classmates discover that the blazing sun never sets, but hovers ominously above the horizon. There is an abundance of luscious fruit on the island, and even sweet nectar with inebriating qualities, dulling the senses of the stranded college kids. They think they've found paradise— But Rick is not convinced.
Once he discovers an enigmatic sandbar leading out into the sea, exactly 10 feet wide with perfectly angular edges, his suspicions are confirmed: all is not as it seems.
Armed with his brainy new friend Benjamin, and the rebellious wildcard Jess, Rick must venture out into the unknown to send a distress signal. But the demons of the uncharted depths have other plans, as do the demons that lurk within Rick himself.
